Fortify has a new name: meet StrongEra

September 14, 2026 · By Claire McGregor

If you have been using Fortify for your strength training, nothing about your workouts is changing. What is changing is the name on the app icon. Fortify is now StrongEra.

Quick answer

Fortify has been renamed StrongEra. It is the same app, the same workouts, and the same progressive training plans you have been using all along. Your account, your programs, and your logged history carry over automatically. Nothing needs to be reinstalled or set up again.

Why we changed the name

We heard you. The Fortify name was hard to find. With so many competing products and services out there, it was tough to track us down in a search or a crowded App Store listing, and just as tough to tell a friend about us without them landing on the wrong app.

So we would like to introduce StrongEra. It is the same app, the same workouts, the same you, just with a name that is easier to find and remember. If you want the full backstory on why this app exists at all, we wrote about that in why we built StrongEra.

StrongEra for Women

Start building strength that lasts

StrongEra is designed for women who want to lift smart, build muscle, and protect bone health through every phase of midlife and beyond.

What is staying exactly the same

Every part of the training experience is unchanged. Your workout programs, your progressive overload history, your reps and weights, and the joint friendly, recovery aware approach to training through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond are all still there. If you were relying on StrongEra to support bone health and build muscle safely, that programming has not shifted at all, only the label on the tin.

If you had Fortify bookmarked, saved, or linked somewhere, those old links now redirect to the equivalent StrongEra page automatically, so you should not run into dead ends.

What is next for StrongEra

We are committed to making StrongEra better all the time, and we would love to hear from you. If something feels off after the update, or if there is a feature you wish existed, reach out any time at support@tinyideas.net. We read every message.

Takeaway

A name is easier to change than years of research and programming, and that part has not moved. Fortify is now StrongEra: same app, same workouts, same commitment to helping women train smart through midlife and beyond, just under a name you can actually find again.

Please note: StrongEra provides general fitness information only. It is not medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise program.

Frequently asked questions

Is StrongEra a new app?

No. StrongEra is the same app that was previously called Fortify. The workouts, your programs, and your history are unchanged. Only the name and the App Store listing have changed.

Do I need to do anything to keep using the app?

No action is needed. If you already have Fortify installed, it will update to the new StrongEra name and icon the next time your apps update. Your account, workouts, and progress carry over as they are.

Will my progress and workout history carry over?

Yes. Renaming the app does not touch your account, your programs, your logged sets, or your progress stats in any way.

Why did you rename Fortify to StrongEra?

We heard from users that Fortify was hard to find and easy to confuse with other products and services, which made it tough to search for or recommend to friends. StrongEra is a more distinct name that is easier to find, remember, and share.
